This week, we kick things off with the fantasy adventure, Dawn of the Dragonslayer. After Will and his father learn a valuable lesson about not stealing dragon eggs, Will gets to go live with a cantankerous baron and his rambunctious daughter. Wackiness ensues! We also learn way too much about Gabbie's leprechaun fetish.

This week, we weren't able to record an episode. Fortunately, we had a back-up episode on hand for your listening pleasure. |

We go a bit outside of our usual wheelhouse this week with 2010's Freak Dance. Cocolonia has wanted to be a dancer all her life and when she finally gets her chance and joins Fantaseez, the nefarious building inspector general shows up and threatens to shut them down! Will they be able to pay off the fines in time? There just so happens to be a big dance contest coming up! Unfortunately, Dazzle and his army of private dancers could stand in their way!

This week it's all about unusual heroes battling in outer space for the amusement of children! First up, we have Mom and Dad Save the World featuring the likes of Jeffrey Jones, Jon Lovitz and even Eric Idle. With a collection of actors like that, surely this will be a great film! Or will it?

What is the biggest threat facing mankind? Global warming? Nuclear war? Zombie apocalypse? Bah, mere child's play. In this week's episode we learn that the true threat to mankind is those damned birds! (though maybe global warming has something to do with it? Also, spruce bark beetles!) |

The horror comedy is always a bit of a tricky balancing act. Very few movies manage to strike the right balance of horror and comedy and it's quite often that the movie will fail to be all that scary or all that funny. Dead & Breakfast is a little light on the horror (though it does have some nice practical effects gore) but it is pretty funny and its got an a interesting voodoo-like take on its zombies that makes for good watching. Trevor and Gabbie will tell you all about it.

It's a double dose of musicians starring in movies this week. First up, we have the cult classic, UHF, starring Weird Al as a imaginative but unfocused man who suddenly gets tasked with running an obscure UHF TV station. |

This week, we kick things off with the awesomely titled Kids Go to the Woods... Kids Get Dead. This film attempts to recreate both the 80s slasher feel and the late night horror host phenomenon. One of us thought this movie was a whole lot of fun. The other of us was less positive in his or her assessment. But I'm pretty sure the first person was correct. Trevor and Gabbie are in total agreement on the bottom 100 film though. 2006's Surf School manages to be incredibly cliche, painfully unfunny and just all-around terrible. But at least the theme song is catchy in a bad sort of way.

Our movie this week is Apart. The touching story about a man, Noah, searching for his lost memories. Most of these lost memories involve his best friend and love interest, Emily. Turns out that Noah and Emily have shared hallucinations. Or maybe they are shared visions that foretell the future? And apparently when Noah and Emily are around each other the visions/hallucinations are worse, maybe? It's kinda confusing? |

It's a double-serving of cheese this week. First see Canada's answer to Star Wars, The Shape of Things to Come. If you want sci-fi movies that feature incredibly dated robots, fighting with pipes and trash can lids and Jack Palance wearing a goofy helmet, boy is this the movie for you!
